Ivan espinosa de los Monteros
Ivan holds a BS in Business Administration from ICADE (Madrid) and an MBA from the Kellogg School (Northwestern University, Chicago). His early career was in auditing (Arthur Andersen), investment banking (Schroders) and consulting (McKinsey & Co).
After completing his MBA, he begun an entrepreneurial spree in fields such as entertainment production, publishing, and real estate. Ivan was a founding member and CFO of Vacation TV, a satellite channel producing holiday-related programming in four languages for all of Europe that raised significant funding and partnered with large corporations such as Telefónica. Ivan also founded Showmania, a multi-platform content producer covering the Spanish-language entertainment world, where he acted as CEO. Showmania produced TV shows that were broadcast across LatAm, and launched a successful fan portal.
He was one of the founders and CFO of Metaphore, a sophisticated lifestyle magazine and event producer, that was succesfully sold to international investors. He has also developed numerous real estate projects for clients and tenants such as MTV, Rock in Rio, or flamenco dancer Joaquín Cortés. Ivan is a regular guest on several TV and radio shows covering business.
Andres Franco Jiménez
(MBA Kellogg Graduate School of Management)
Andres has almost twenty years of international experience leading multi-functional teams in several industries. He has had direct operational experience growing businesses in large organizations as well as local startups achieving significant results in those ventures
Previously, Andrés worked for 14 years at AQUANIMA (Company part of Santander Bank Group), and was one of the key leaders in the growth of its business as an international procurement services optimization company. During Andrés’ tenure, the business grew from 1 to 10 countries, from managing 80 to 8.000 million euros becoming one of the leaders in Latin America and Europe, with more than 150 clients, generating annual savings in excess of €500 million for their clients and a consistent annual EBIT margin of 15-20%
Before Aquanima, Andres worked several years in McKINSEY & COMPANY, where he advised senior management of large multinationals in growth and innovation projects achieving double digit growth or cost optimization impact
Andrés holds an MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Chicago (USA) and a Bachelor’s in Computing and Systems Engineering from Universidad de los Andes, Bogota (Colombia)
Liborio Porteros Mañueco
Liborio has 20 years of professional experience in finance and private equity firms. He has had direct experience setting up, fundraising and managing different interests with various different sectors
Liborio is currently CEO of Aten Oil Group a funded company to create a multi branded petrol station operator with more than 200 stations network. Before that, he was CEO of Eurolotam Capital Partners and also CEO of Pontia Capital where he led successful investments and operations in several international companies, being Member of the Board of all holding and subsidiary companies. Before those positions Liborio worked many years as Manager in Accenture as part of their Financial Services Practice and was Head of the Asset Management & Private Equity Practice in Spain
Liborio holds a Degree on Economics and Business Studies, mastered in FINANCE, at ICADE (Universidad Pontificia de Comillas) and a Business Management Degree EBMS from Swansea University (UK)
Estanislao de Aranzadi
Estanislao is actively involved both in investing as a Business Angel and in financial advisory.
He is engaged in Impact Investing through Creas Desarrolla, which is the first private equity fund in Spain with a primary focus on investing in sustainable entrepreneurial ventures with a social and environmental impact.
Moreover, as a Business Angel and Financial Advisor, Estanislao has got interests and involvement in FinTech, Clean Technology, Reduce Reuse Recycle Technology, Collaborative Economy, and Consulting. Additionally, Estanislao is active as Member of the Jury in Start Ups competitions in FinTech and Impact Investing.
Previously, Estanislao worked almost 18 years at Banco Santander Group. He has been involved and in charge of Mergers & Acquisitions, Initial Public Offerings, Takeovers, Fixed Income Origination and Asset Restructurings in different sectors, specifically Banking, Media, Electrical Utilities, Retail and Food & Beverages, and in several countries in Latin America: Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Mexico, Bolivia, and in Europe: Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, UK, among others.
Amongst his different assignments, he worked as Managing Director, Global Head of Retail and Consumer Products for Santander Global Banking & Markets. Moreover, he was Head of Financial Institutions Group and Financial Sponsors in Europe. Additionally, he worked as Head of Investment Banking in Argentina and Member of the Executive Committee at Banco Santander Rio. Furthermore, Estanislao has also been responsible for the issuance of Regulatory Capital for Banco Santander prior to 1999, specifically Subordinated Bonds, Preference Shares, Convertible Bonds and a Rights Issue (2000), in the USA, Euro and Spanish markets.
Estanislao holds an MSc degree (Licenciatura) in Economics & Business Administration from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau (France).
